FDA-Approved Peptide Therapeutics
Selected FDA-approved peptide medicine examples, with product-specific applications, indications and direct regulatory sources. Approval belongs to a particular product and use; it does not transfer to every product containing the same ingredient.
FDA reviews evidence of effectiveness, safety, labeling and manufacturing quality for a specified medicine. Approval does not eliminate adverse effects or guarantee zero impurities. Development pathways and evidentiary requirements vary.

What Regulatory Approval Establishes
FDA evaluates the evidence and benefit–risk balance for a specific medicine, together with labeling and manufacturing information. Trial designs differ by application. Quality controls reduce manufacturing risks; they do not guarantee that every batch has zero impurities or that an approved medicine has no adverse effects. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products.
